Very good food and fast service

Fantastic location in the middle of nature, good food and a friendly team. The ideal accommodation if you want to really relax far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Stood there with a mobile home. The food in the forest restaurant was very tasty.

Floor covering and equipment in the restaurant as it was 40 years ago. Received unfriendly by the owner who replied to me that I had received a flat rate confirmation for HP (instead of apologizing for a mistake, if necessary!): Then you can go. Room was only an extra bed. No real seating furniture, just stools. Moisture on the wall on the TV. Is an emergency shelter. Breakfast was very extensive, but was already on the table at the beginning of breakfast instead of serving the sausage when the guest appeared. It's a shame, an object with an optimal location and home cooking. You could make something out of it.

A very nice hotel and restaurant. It is very quiet and cozy in the forest near Bad Frankenhausen and is always worth a visit.

We stayed here from 09/15 to 17/09/2020. We really liked it, the rooms are not big, why should we? We were out all day and are tired back to the hotel. Make something fresh and then eat it here delicious. The kitchen is really recommendable. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but when the locals come to eat it must be great. We will definitely come back here.

Total failure! Room like in the 80s. Dirty wallpaper, single rooms smaller than 1.5 by 5 meters. Breakfast without any extra. Every euro is one euro too much!

We were only eating but that was amazing. Sau delicious and plentiful prie well okay for the food not cheap but quality costs. Didn't have to wait long, everything went quickly and professionally. I will definitely go back. Insider tip :)

Friendly service, nice quite location on the path towards the kyffhaeuser memorial, and considering the price, appropriate clean rooms with a good enough breakfast.

Good home cooking. Big portion. Homemade jellied meat and great fried potatoes. Rostbrätl super tender with melted onions. Quiet location in the middle of the forest. Parking for at least 12 vehicles.

Very, very nice owners and a wonderful forest location, a very quiet and very quaint hotel. And the price is very cheap. But renovating the rooms would definitely not hurt. For one night it is quite sufficient.

Can you sit outside, nice service and the food was good too

Room - good price / quality ratio. Staff - who depends. The gentleman who greeted me (blond) did not at first plead with courtesy, but later it was better. Restaurant - pleasant atmosphere, good food, breakfast (buffet table) without complaint.

Who can do without frills is more than in good hands here. Super friendly, clean, nice and lovely off the beaten track. The unique silence was complemented only by the song of countless birds in the forest around. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the food from the hot stone a great experience. Price / performance unbeatable! My honest recommendation!

Not a Luxurious place but sort of charming. Plenty of dead wild animals on the walls and on the menu.
